Dear Christians

First and foremost, i received an email that went something like this:

"oh ok... well let me ask u this... wut if i was to say there is a heaven and a hell... and in the bible... john 14:6 says "jesus said to them... i am the way the truth and the light... no man comes to the father but thru me"... that would make ur statement incorrect as far as my faith goes... ultimately dooming anyone that does not accept christ as savior to hell... but on the other hand if ur way makes us both safe... now at the end of it all... if ur correct... we r both ok (as we would both agree) everything is fine, no biggie... but if im correct... u will sadly burn in hell for eternity... im not judging u... im just goimg off of wut i consider to b truth... ur way makes it life eaay and gives no guide lines... Christs way gives guide lines and a way to follow them thru the bible..."

I have an issue with this on so many levels.
but i only have the strength to deal with a few of them.

This is one of the major reasons why i do not and will not identify myself as a Christian.
As much as you preach, and judge, and condemn, and back bite and everything else that you do,
[because your bible told you to apparently] what makes you any better than other religion, faith, or anything else that is out there.

Oh wait
the fact that a book told you you were better makes you better
OR
the fact that someone told you that someone who knew someone
who knew someone who knew "Jesus" said you were perfect and could damn someone to hell

what if i told you that everything you believe in was bullshit?
that it is so sad how some of us fall victim to beLIEving what people FORCE upon us as oppose to finding our own truth?
what if i told you that jesus to me is a rumor. the bible is made up of tales from he say she say. each chapter is from someones point of view; we have been told fables all of our life, little red riding hood, three little bears, and the bible [IMO] is just another one

judge me if you will but according to your lord that is a sin. so i suppose we will burn in hell together.

My thoughts are in so many places over this because i can not believe this person had the audacity
to feel as tho it was ok for him to state i would burn in hell over the fact that i wish to find the truth.

and what is most sad about this is, it all started over him saying i would burn in hell for dating women and not producing my families seed

really? or is it because i am not interested in what you have to offer?

Your bible tells you to kill if you do not follow the "lord" two words ANGER MANAGEMENT:
"I will sweep away everything in all your land," says the LORD. "I will sweep away both people and animals alike. Even the birds of the air and the fish in the sea will die. I will reduce the wicked to heaps of rubble, along with the rest of humanity," says the LORD. "I will crush Judah and Jerusalem with my fist and destroy every last trace of their Baal worship. I will put an end to all the idolatrous priests, so that even the memory of them will disappear. For they go up to their roofs and bow to the sun, moon, and stars. They claim to follow the LORD, but then they worship Molech, too. So now I will destroy them! And I will destroy those who used to worship me but now no longer do. They no longer ask for the LORD's guidance or seek my blessings." (Zephaniah 1:2-6 NLT)

Your bible is ok with Rape and Pillage :
(Deuteronomy 20:10-14)
As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you.

And all you have to pay is a fine for rape? REALLY?:
(Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NLT)
If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.

Oh and lets not forget the killing, which by the way contradict Thou shall not KILL":

Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel. (Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT)

This one should sadden most of you:
If a man commits adultery with another man's wife, both the man and the woman must be put to death. (Leviticus 20:10 NLT)

Wow, i think i found why you think it is ok for me to burn in hell:
Whoever sacrifices to any god, except the Lord alone, shall be doomed. (Exodus 22:19 NAB)

So wait, if you kill me for following another belief, will you burn in hell with me since thou shall not...uh..oh, maybe im wrong

You want me to follow this?
These are the rules i need to abide by in order to have a good life?

Hitler was a christian, and altho he did not kill himself, he sent others to do it
I guess your ok with that tho, since he was a christian
Cause i mean, christians can do no wrong

A lot of Christians ignore what "Jesus" actually says in the Bible. They also tend to add things to the actual words to make them say something else.

One of the criticisms most frequently leveled at me when presenting any of the above arguments has been that I have no right to judge God. A pretty feeble grasp at the straws. Christians proclaim that God is the definition of good. All morality proceeds downwards from him, so it makes no sense to apply moral standards to him. But I must interject. God allowed my ancestors Adam and Eve to eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. Thus, allowing us “to be like gods, and know the difference between good and evil”. This very biblical verse, written in the first book of Genesis, conflicts with the same argument these Christians attempt to use. If we as humans are now capable of knowing good and evil LIKE THE GODS why can't we use our judgment? How can it be lower then God’s if God is the one who claimed that we are like him?

Let’s say for the sake of argument that I should not judge God. Well then, would it be fair to hold him up to his own standards? Please consult verses Matthew 25:41-46 We hear Jesus say: “Go away from me with your curse upon you, to the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you never gave me food; I was thirsty and you never gave me anything to drink; I was a stranger and you never made me welcome, naked and you never clothed me, sick and in prison and you never visited me. . . And they will go away to eternal punishment, and the virtuous to eternal life.”

Now, I have never personally seen Jesus feed the hungry nor, have I seen him give drink to those who thirst. But, I do personally see thousands of people die of starvation. I do not recall Jesus dispensing clothes. He has never made me feel welcome, let alone acknowledged. I see the faithful sicken and die on a daily basis. In light of this Jesus himself is the worst of all sinners; if there is no double standard he will be at the head of the line into eternal punishment. He is guilty of every crime of which he accuses the damned.

This has tired me.
I will finish soon in a part two
